American Eats, A National Legacy:
Established in 1901, American Eats is the all-time favorite of the majority of Americans.
Menu items have typically represented the red white and blue's favorites and originals.
Tommy Smith, founder and original recipe chef, felt inspired to share his
favorite dishes with his community. After great initial success, American Eats was born.
Tommy went on to establish 24 restaurants in the Southern United States, while coining the slogan:
"Eat like an American". Tommy passed away in 1934, but the legacy
of American Eats lives on, in almost every major city in the United States.
